My year as an exchange student at SFSH

This is my first time being an exchange student to Taiwan. I felt so exciting when I heard my dad said that he is going to let me stay here for a year. I was born in Germany. Both of my parents are Taiwanese, so I am really curious about Taiwanese culture. Even though I have been here so many times in the past, I still have no further chance to stay here for such a long time. Because of staying in the school, I know so many things about Taiwan, nice people, delicious food, etc.
 

My dad arranges me receive training in different countries, and my favorite place is this school, SFSH. Because of the coach here, my badminton skill is getting better and better. I hope that I could get good score in the future. With those hard practices, I think I can do this.
 

For this school, I also started to play some tournaments. I played exactly 3 tournaments for this school and every tournament I have learned from the court. The best result and what I´m very proud of is to win the high school Games with SFSH this year. I experienced so much and spent so much time with my team. I was so happy to play the key player in the matches and contributed myself to the amazing results.

I think the most different part between Taiwan and Germany is that students need to wear school uniform here, and we don't need to in Germany. The pressure of tests and classes is much stronger than the one in Germany. I am really confused about the system of Taiwanese education. Anyway, I still love the culture here.
 

I am quite nervous when I first come to SFSH, but later on, I didn’t. Because of all the classmates’ help, I was getting used to the life here. Thank you guys for those kindness and all the help. I appreciate that you always do your best to make me feel so happy during this time .
 

Time flies, it’s time to go. I promise I will come back and I will miss you all.
