---102級楊雨蓉的故事

2012年的暑假，學校和台灣國際青少年交流協會合辦了「二天一夜」的台美高中生交流活動，把19個美國高中生帶到學校來，讓新豐的學生們，不用出國就有機會可以和美國的學生們face-to-face的近距離接觸，讓學生們深刻地體驗了一次國際交流!而我也很慶幸參加了這個活動。

　　還記得一起去參訪安平的古蹟時，我支支吾吾，講半天解釋不出什麼是神主牌位。（I still remember that while we visited the historical sites in An-ping, I tried hard to explain the memorial tables.）還記得一起去逛夜市，外國朋友們嚐試新奇食物時，臉上那既期待又怕受傷害的表情。（I still remember the time my new America friends and I visited the night market, which was also when they had their first taste of Taiwanese cuisine. The expressions on their faces were mixed with exception and a bit of fear. Haha LOL）還記得最後雖然非常捨不得，但是還是得給他們一個大大的擁抱，然後祝福他們一路順風。（I also remember that when the Americans were going to leave, our Taiwanese students were all so reluctant to say good-bye, but we still gave them a big hug and wish them a happy trip home.）這些難忘的回憶至今都歷歷在目！（These are all my precious memories, and they are still so vivid even now.）

　　透過這個活動，我不僅學習到外國人的遊記寫作方式，更大大地進步了外語的能力－兩天下來的相處，讓我英文聽力進步了不少呢！（This activity, taught me not only about how to write a journal, but also allowed me to make a large improvement in my English listening comprehension skills.）

    希望有機會的話還能夠參加這種交流活動。也希望這種交流活動能夠一直持續下去，讓更多的學弟妹們也能分享這一份感動！（I Hope I have many more opportunities for participation in exchange activities in the future, and I also hope that this activity continue on so that our school brothers and sisters will have the chance to exchange with American students!）
